  1. Dear JournodownUnder

Bamako and south of Mali in general is having subtropical to arid climate, however the northern parts Mali is sub-saharan; hot and dry (February to June) 37-40C is normal; rainy, humid, and mild (June to November); cool and dry (November to February)where the temperature low as 15 to 17C

  2. In winter, you’ll see many petrol stations selling firewood here. We use them for the fireplace at home though the use of electric, gas or oil heaters are more popular now. Is Bamako tropical or 4-seasoned?

  3. Dear Hisham SoT

Gas for cooking is widely available but its price is more than affordable to majority of the people. Alternatively they choose cooking using the resources available anf affordable within

    Thanks for your comment
