Almost everyday as I was crossing through the bridge of King Abdul Aziz Fahd in Bamako, I could not avoid to notices the special landscape at beneath and surrounding the bridge near Hotel Azalai Salam.  Yes I am talking about special landscape.

The understanding and interepretation of landscape for a lay man always refer to a well kept garden but wikipedia describes, landscape comprises the visible features of an area of land, including physical elements such as landforms, living elements of flora and fauna, abstract elements such as lighting and weather conditions, and human elements, for instance human activity or the built environment.

Normally you dry the clothes by hanging its onto the cloth lines, but this is the common sight and method to dry the clothes in Bamako

The word landscape comes from the Dutch word landschap, from land (directly equivalent to the English word land) and the suffix -schap, corresponding to the English suffix “-ship”.

What I mean here by special landscape is the activity of Bamakoise who makes a living by washing or laundering the clothes.  They carried the activity of cleaning and drying the clothes by the side of Niger River.  To me, drying the clothes by laying them on the ground to me creates special view and landscape.

Alhamdulillah kalau sudah buat keputusan berhijrah, mungkin banyak munafaatnya berhijrah, pertamanya mungkin kerna tarikan kewangan, pendidikan atau ingin beroleh pengalaman baru. Mungkin anda punya alasan tersendiri untuk berhijrah. Bagaimanapun tahniah kerana akan berhijrah nanti. Selamat berhijrah
