Bamako’s New City Taxi and not so new taxi
On Saturday 7th November 2009, a new fleet of brand new city taxi was launched in Bamako. It was initiated by l’Agence Nationale pour la Promotion de l’Emploi (ANPE) and co-operation with commercial bank ie Bank Régionale de Solidarité (BRS-Mali). There are hope that with this initiative it will create more job opportunity and improve the public transport and people mobility in Bamako

Interesting….kalau di Kuching bukan mudah untuk dapat permit taxi .

Previously taxi operates by individual, now thay introduced a scheme that the operator is the society and the driver lease the car from the operator.
Sound familiar. Hope the scheme will success.
