Crystal Mosque

Crystal Mosque in Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, Indonesia

Crystal Mosque in Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, Indonesia

During the recent Ramadhan 1429H, I was in Jakarta’s Hotel Sultan.  I attracted to the construction of beautiful Crystal Mosque by the Hotel’s Florist Team.  Its took them 9 days from 15 August 2008 to 28 August 2008 to make the preparations of 11,429 plastic bottles of mineral water.  Then its took another 6 days from 29 August 2008 to 3 September 2009 to installs and assemble all the recycled mineral water’s bottle and forming this beautiful Crystal Mosque.  This was an effort of the hotel’s florist team to create Ramadhan’s and Eid Fitr’s mood to the hotel’s patrons.  Ramadhan and Eid Fitr are celebrated widely and in high spirit in Indonesia

To my family, friends, readers and fellow bloggers, I like to wish to all of you …..

Happy Eid Fitr 1429H

Wallscape

When I was in Paris sometime ago, I came across one beautiful building at Quai Branly which was in the middle of replacing the potted plants that made the façade very unique

I have read the story of this building a few years back.  I am really glad on that day, I managed to locate the building myself and appreciate its wallscape

Do you think building is beautiful with its wallscape?

As normally wallscape refers to billboards that create the commercial scenery in the city, this soft wallscape makes the scenery more pleasant! I have notice now there many other building try to shift the hard wallscape to soft wallscape as at the marketing office of Setia Eco Garden at Gelang Patah, Johore.
